Dr. Castillo’s journey in dentistry began with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology & Neuroscience from the University of Miami, followed by a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Nova Southeastern University. Her academic background fuels her passion for dentistry, empowering her to deliver exceptional care with a thoughtful approach.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Castillo leads an active lifestyle, enjoying CrossFit and spending quality time with her family. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Erik. She is also a devoted mother to her twin children, Aria and Ezra, balancing professional dedication with her family life beautifully.

Dr. Alexandra Castillo joined Greenstein Dental in 2013. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Castillo moved to Miami in 1995 and grew up in the Kendall area. With a Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology & Neuroscience from the University of Miami as well as a Doctor of Medical Dentistry from Nova Southeastern University, she brings an incredible passion and commitment to your dental health.
She has served as President of the American Student Dental Association receiving Awards for Excellence in service and leadership to the profession.
In 2011, she led a dental team on a mission trip to provide services in Jamaica.
Dr. Castillo remains active in these roles as a member of multiple organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and local dental societies.
