Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Ana Karina Perez comes from a family known for their strong work ethics and dedication to others.
She received her dental degree(D.M.D.) in 2008 from the University Gran Mariscal of Ayacucho (UGMA)in Venezuela. She later went to Mexico and in 2010 earned her postgraduate degree in Orthodontics at the Universidad Latinoamericana de Mexico(ULA).In this same year, seeking to expand her orthodontic expertise she completed a theoretical and practical diploma in MBT philosophy in Orthodontics.
Once graduated, she worked in her private practice as a specialist in Orthodontics in Venezuela for four years. She then decided to move to the United States and revalidate her studies in Dentistry. Dr. Ana Karina Pérez began her AEGD program at the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education in 2022 to complete her revalidation in 2024.
Dr Ana Karina has numerous skills, including comprehensive exams, diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, clear aligners, emergency dental care, endodontics, oral surgery, extractions, dental implants, nitrous oxide administration, occlusal therapy, pediatric dentistry, patient management, education, and promotion of preventive care.
After completing board certification in this country, Dr. Perez began working as a general dentist specializing in restorative, endodontic, prosthetic, and limited orthodontic dentistry. Dr. Ana Karina has been a member of both the American Dental Association, a professional organization that represents dentists in the United States, and the South Florida District Dental Association since 2022.
Dr. Perez feels a strong sense of pride in representing the dental profession and prioritizes delivering the highest quality treatments and services ensuring the best possible outcomes for her patients. In addition to this, she can communicate in both Spanish and English which enhances a patient’s comfort and overall experience.
